Budget and low cost cheap Flights to Granada
Granada, with its Alhambra, is where our Washington Irving lived
and wrote; Cordoba with its Mosque-Cathedral, its fairs, and its
romerias or tours will interest you. Getting back to central Spain (107
miles northwest of Madrid), you will like Salamanca, old university town
on the banks of the River Tormes, its Plaza Mayor, with its fine Town
Hall, its magnificent arcades, and the Baroque style Pabellbn Real
(Royal Pavilion).
San Sebastian, world-famous summer resort and capital of the province of
Guipuzcoa, one of the three that form the Basque country, shouldn't be
missed. Its beach, famed La Concha (called "the shell" because of its
shape), is visited by both Spaniards and foreigners by the thousands
each season. The best of sports car and yacht races, famous stake races
for horses at Lasarte, the best Basque ball players anywhere, and the
very best bullfighting all are seen during the summer. Stay at Maria
Cristina, Londres or Continental Palace Hotel; get there if possible
during the "Grand Week" in August, and make reservations in advance.

almost perfect condition. The Alcazar Palace 14 th century was residence
